Features
The songbook
Search by title, composer, key, voicing, language or liturgical moment. Note names in Do-Ré-Mi or in letters, whichever you use.
The programme copied out again before every mass
The programme is prepared ahead, with its soloists, and duplicated for the next one.
The list of singers in a notebook
You share one link on WhatsApp, each singer signs up and picks their voices. The balance of your sections is visible at a glance.
The attendance sheet
Present, late, excused, absent. You can look back over each singer's year.
You say what each column holds, once. The songs arrive with their key, their language and their occasions. Included from the Choir plan.
Scores and recordings lost in the WhatsApp group
Each section finds its score and its recording on the song's page.
The app
Each tab is a page of the app, filled with an example choir's data.
Choirs
Parish, cathedral, youth and children's choirs: Sanjola is designed around how they rehearse, sing and organise themselves.
Photographs of choirs in Ghana, Côte d'Ivoire, Uganda and Nigeria, under open licences (credits at the bottom of the page). These choirs do not necessarily use Sanjola.

What a choir asks before it starts.
Payment and plans
By mobile money, cash or transfer, in F CFA. The free plan stays free, up to 25 singers and 100 songs.
No. It stays free as long as the choir has no more than 25 members and 100 songs.
The choir goes back to the free plan and nothing is deleted. Past the limits you simply can't add members or songs, and Excel import and export close.
Getting started
No. Sanjola opens in the browser, on a phone or a computer. You can add it to your phone's home screen.
Import it. You say what each column holds, and values can be written in French, English, Wolof or Lingala. Import and export are included from the Choir plan.
List them anyway. A singer can be on the roster without an account: they get their voices, can be assigned to a celebration, and the roll counts them. They can join with the invitation link whenever they are able to.
Trust
Only the choir's members. If you choose, a public page shows your repertoire and your coming celebrations; files, attendance, e-mail addresses and phone numbers stay private.
Admins manage members, invitations and settings. Every singer can browse the repertoire, add songs and pick their own voices. Programmes and the roll are prepared by the choir's leadership and its secretary.
A recording only downloads when someone presses play. WhatsApp voice notes can be added to a song as they are.
You invite your singers with a link. They pick their voices, and the repertoire starts to fill up.
